MODERN DESIGN REVIEW WILL BE PRESENTING SPACE FRAMES AT THE NEW COLLECTIBLE DESIGN FAIR IN BRUSSELS

The Space Frames by Studio Mieke Meijer are an accomplished and dramatic series of works which  beautifully articulate the preoccupations of this Eindhoven-based studio. Studio Mieke Meijer works somewhere between architecture and product design, eschewing the traditional constrictions of both. Scale, construction, materiality and tectonic detail are all at play here in this series of light sculptures and the studio’s enduring interest in methods of industrial architectural building are clear to see. Modern Design Review has recently celebrated the works in a photographic essay by photographer Angela Moore and will be presenting the series in Brussels (stand 4_16). All works will be for sale.

A second exhibition Modern Design review will be presenting is Man and Machine with works of designers Anton Alvarez, Thomas Ballouhey and James Shaw (stand 4_9).
