The Space Frames presented at Intown Futian are the largest of its kind, designed site specifically and produced in China. The giant sculptural lights act as landmarks in the large open spaces of the mall, drawing visitors towards and beneath them and encouraging social interaction.

1. The large arch filled with light is the most archetypical Space Frame of the series. Historically an arch heralds the idea of an entrance and is, as such, a token of identity. For the visitors of Intown Futian it is a welcoming gesture, inviting them to dwell in its light and explore the area.

2. Space Frames are designed to respond to their architectural surroundings. The architectural scale of Intown Futian asked for a super-sized Space Frames sculpture. It visually connects the different levels of the architecture, resulting in a playful installation, like waterfall of light.

3. The Space Frames ring acts as a pieces of architecture jewelry. Although the ring is not a full circle, it certainly suggests it is. With the many meanings a circle has in different cultures it leaves room for imagination for everyone visiting Intown Futian.
